Austin Pets Alive is a nationally acclaimed, no-kill animal rescue that helped Austin become the largest no-kill city in America.

This 501(c)(3) is entirely funded by private donations and grants. It’s supported by an unwavering community, and powered by hundreds of dedicated volunteers. I contribute to their success in a number of ways. From dog walking and building maintenance, to training development and activism, I spend 25 hours per week contributing to APA’s unprecedented success.

I was asked to create a video series that prepares new volunteers for in-person training sessions. I worked with subject matter experts to expedite the ADDIE process. I then wrote the scripts, created graphics and animations, shot the video, and completed all post production tasks.
